*** IMPORTANT ***
The UK Government in all their wisdom has put a new legislation through parliament and to royal assent which softens the boundaries of copyright laws.
With this new proposal, your digital artworks online that don't have watermarks plastered over them and become "orphaned" can be used by anyone as they see fit.
THAT INCLUDES SELLING YOUR WORK FOR THEIR OWN GAINS. People only need to perform a minor search for the original author, but nothing is stopping people pleading ignorance and stripping the data embedded in an image.
There is still time though - final details need to be agreed in parliament, and they could still abort the plans.
I have created the petition on the HM Gov website against this legislation.
